Breaking News: India’s Chandrayaan-3 Rover Set to Land on Moon, Propelling Nation’s Space Ambitions

Your wait for the Chandrayaan-3 mission is now over. Chandrayaan 3 will be launched on the 13th of July at 2:30 p.m.

In this mission, the spaceship is ready to land on the moon. ISRO will be launching the Chandrayaan-3 on the 13th of July 2023 at 2:30 p.m. from the space center at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

If the mission turns out to be a success then, India will be the 4th country in the world to land on the surface of the moon. As America, Russia, and China have successfully landed their space vehicle on the moon.

Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation, Sri. S. Somnath said that they have made changes in the technology so that this vehicle does not face the same fate as the Vikram Lander of the Chandrayaan-2 mission. He also said that there is a window for the launch from 12 to 19 of July 2023.

He further said that the testing phase is over and the vehicle has been attached to the rocket. He said that the final date will be chosen after all the calculations have been done. There will be no change in the schedule unless there is some technical issue.

In the Chandrayaan-3 space mission, ISRO is sending only a lander and a rover vehicle. It is being said that the satellite of Chandrayaan-2 which is in the orbit of the moon will be used to establish communication between the lander and the ISRO base on Earth. Completing the journey of 47 days in space the lander will start its descent from the moon’s orbit to its surface on 7th September, 2023. All necessary precautions are being taken to ensure its safe landing, as in the previous mission, the lander lost all contact when it was 2 km above the surface of the moon.
