Isha Mishra made Bihar proud: Won Gold in 32nd Senior National Championship

The 32nd Senior National Wushu (Men/Women) Championship organized by the Indian Wushu Federation was organized from 26th June to 1st July at Shree Shivchhatrapati Sports Complex Pune Maharashtra.

Bihar Wushu players got 4 medals. Isha Mishra of Muzaffarpur won gold medal and a bronze medal in routine Wushu competition, Sonali Kumari (Patna) won bronze medal and Amisha Kumari (Buxar) won bronze medal in Sanda competition of Wushu.

The players and teams will qualify for the upcoming National Games only from the Senior National Competition. President of Bihar Wushu Association Dr. Amulya Singh, Senior Vice President Mr. Mukut Mani, Vice President Mr. Satish Kumar Jha and Dr. B. Priyam, General Secretary Suman Mishra ji, and all respected members of Bihar Wushu Association congratulated all the medallist players who won at the national level and made Bihar proud in the field of sports.

More than 1500 players from all states of India and all units of defence participated in this competition, said, Varun Kumar (Saran), the coach of Bihar Wushu team.

Smt. Suman Mishra, General Secretary of Bihar Wushu Sangh, said that the medal winning players would be honored by the Association on reaching Bihar and wished them a bright future.
